Today I was researching and watching tutorials for how Dreamweaver works and I tried to use a bit of the software, but still didn't understand how to use it. So, I decided to look at more different types of tutorials and some shortcuts.

Design Brief

For my project, I am thinking about doing web design on dreamweaver and learning more about coding and computer terms as well as develop my skills for how to make a website and what is needed for making one. I also want to create all the background designs or wallpaper designs for the website all by myself on photoshop or illustrator rather than using a picture from the internet. By doing that, I will develop my skills for those two software programs as well.

I tried another type of Vista Lightening Effect, but with different colors and position. I also combined all the layers together to change more of the color balance as a whole near the end. I messed up on some parts such as making one aurora effect come out red and it looks out of place.

Today I also tried making a list of things that I may be interested in doing to help develop my skills. The list consisted of web design(on dreamweaver), character animation (2D or 3D), film production, photography, and game design-coding.

Today, I worked on the Abstract Vector Background. I was having some trouble with making the gradient to appear, but I managed to get it to show. The first ellipse is not correctly gradient-ed, but I tried my best.

Today, I tried to practice some photoshop skills, but I was having trouble with finding the tools and using them because in the instructions, it doesn't say what to do with the tools.

Today, I tried to do the bokeh effect on photoshop; however, when I was trying to do the gradient color effect, it wouldn't show up. I tried to move on the the other steps and go back, but I still can't get the gradient to come up.

Skill Objective

I need to learn and develop my skills on how to use illustrator, sketchbook, Photoshop, etc. so that I can create/design a website on dreamweaver to learn more about coding and how websites are made. Also create everything myself meaning the designs and the pictures that I want to use to develop skills for photoshop and illustrator as well. For photography learning will help me be able to take reference photos as well as helping with examining the sizes. Also, with the website I want to learn on how I can make the website fit on different sizes of electronics such as computers, tablets or phones.

Today on the padlet, I chose some designs that would help me with a design that I want to do for the laser cutting. I chose some ideas that can help me build something like the pencil holder or box, something that can be used as an everyday thing like the glasses or name card, and something that can help create something fantasy into real life like the crafted out books.

Today, I got used the mask and painting brush to get rid of the chair. I tried to use the healing brush to get the colors to match, but it wasn't working very well.

Today, I finished trying to get the blue background out and leave only the statue. Although there are still some blue sections at the crown area, it was difficult to cut it out without cutting out the crown as well.

I also cut out the background of the zebra.

Design Objective

Because my goal is to become an architect, I want to try to design my own building. The building is a residential building and try to design the interior as well. With the many designs to look at, I want to try to make a building that incorporates most of the designs, but is simple and is possible. Since I don't have enough skills yet, I want to try taking a house and start changing into something different. First, sketching it on paper and copying from a picture of a house and then trying to make on the software program.

My Big Goal in Life

     A job that I possibly would want when I am older would be interior design/architecture. I have always been interested since I was younger with house designs interior and exterior and thought that it was always so interesting on how the exterior could have a different story/feeling from the interior. Although I would like to become an interior design/architecture, I am also very interested in graphic design and web design as it is always so interesting to see how they make things.
